Weather forecasters Rob Pigott, Bob McInnes and Mike Woodroff have over 100 years combined work experience with Environment Canada.
- Held positions covering just about every area involving weather – weather observers and forecasters, as well as working as presentation and aerological technicians.

- Agricultural forecasting – spring and fall frost forecasts, including the summer hay and spray program.
- Currently under contract with Big White, Silver Star and Sun Peaks Resorts to prepare mountain weather forecasts for operational staff and publishing the forecasts on the resort websites.
Rob Pigott (42 years)
- Weather observer/presentation technician for twenty-four years.
Weather forecaster for thirteen years at Kelowna Mountain Weather Centre.- Fire weather forecaster for BC Ministry of Forests for thirteen years.
- Custom enting forecaster for smoke control since 2008.
- Mountain weather forecaster (highways, maintenance contractors, ski resorts) for thirteen years.
- Wrote a weather column for the Lake Country Calendar from November 2004 to May 2005.
- With Mike Woodroff, prepared and conducted a basic and advanced avalanche weather course for a total of 40 students under direction of the Canadian Avalanche Association in Revelstoke.
- Took weather readings and provided specific weather reports for the World Cup races at Silver Star Resort in 1991 and in December 2005 at Sovereign Lake ski area.
- Trainer for the fire weather forecasting course.
- Co-author of ‘Weather of British Columbia’ Lone Pine Publishing. Release date Spring 2009.
Bob McInnes (35 years)
- Weather forecaster for fifteen years.
- Fire weather forecaster for BC Ministry of Forests for fourteen years.
- Mountain weather forecaster (highways, maintenance contractors, ski resorts) for thirteen years.
- Thirty years working as an Aerological (weather balloon) Technician. Served many years in Vernon and in the high Arctic .
- Focal point for the Aerological program at Kelowna Mountain Weather Centre from 1994 until 2005.
Mike Woodroff (39 years)
- Weather observer/presentation technician for 22 years.
- Thirty-seven years as a fire weather forecaster with the B.C. Forest Service.
- Twelve years as a mountain weather forecaster at the Mountain Weather Centre in Kelowna.
- Currently contracted to B.C. Forest Service – started in 2004.
- Experience as a meteorological instructor with the B.C. Forest Service and the Canadian Avalanche Centre.
- Volunteer for the World Cup Cross Country races held at Sovereign Lake in December, 2005. This involved taking weather readings and providing specific weather forecasts for 23 nations and 165 athletes from around the world.
- Trainer for the fire weather forecasting course.
